This privacy policy explains how Lucky X ("we", "us") collects and uses information when you visit luckyx.dev ("the Site").

What we collect

The Site uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID: G-BLYHHC76GG) to collect anonymous usage data. This includes pages visited, time on site, approximate geographic location (country/city level), device type, browser, and referral source. Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish unique visitors. We do not collect names, email addresses, or other personally identifiable information through analytics.

If you subscribe to our email newsletter, we collect your email address through ConvertKit (form ID: 9183962). ConvertKit processes and stores this data on our behalf. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.

Cookies

The Site does not set its own cookies beyond a localStorage preference for theme (light/dark mode). Google Analytics 4 sets cookies (_ga, _ga_*) to measure traffic. These are first-party cookies set by Google's script. No third-party advertising cookies are used.

Hosting

The Site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may collect technical information such as IP addresses in server logs. See GitHub's privacy statement for details.

Data sharing and selling

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party. Data collected through Google Analytics is processed by Google under their privacy policy. Data collected through ConvertKit is processed under their privacy policy.

Data retention

Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months (the default GA4 retention period). Email subscriber data is retained in ConvertKit until you unsubscribe or request deletion.

Your rights

You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time. To request deletion of your data, contact us at the email below.

Children

The Site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
